Elevating the Game: Full Swing Golf and Panasonic Connect are Transforming Immersive Sports Experiences

2 min read

In the rapidly evolving landscape of sports technology, Full Swing Golf has established itself as a leader in immersive golf simulation experiences. As they celebrate nearly 38 years in the industry, their innovative approach has opened new doors and opportunities in various markets, from hotels to casinos. A key partner in this journey has been Panasonic Connect, whose advanced projection technology has played a crucial role in enhancing the Full Swing experience.

We recently spoke with Full Swing Golf’s sales executive, Chad Bergamaschi, to learn more about the transformative impact of immersive technology on the industry and the exciting future ahead for golf simulation experiences.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about Full Swing Golf and how you've partnered with Panasonic Connect?

Chad Bergamaschi: We've been in the industry for a long time, and over the years, both the company and the product have changed significantly. Technology has evolved, and even some of our partnerships have shifted quite a bit. As we've continued to grow our business—seeing significant year-over-year increases—we started looking for new partners who could support us on both the client side and the operational side of things. That's when we connected with Panasonic, and the partnership has really taken off from there.

Q: How has the partnership been so far, particularly with using Panasonic Connect technology?

Chad Bergamaschi: It's been great! We've experienced rapid growth over the past five to seven years, and with that comes the need for various types of technology—whether it’s touchscreens, computers, or projectors. Panasonic’s LCD projectors, in particular, have become a critical part of our setup. We use short-throw, high-lumen projectors, and we demand a lot from them. Panasonic Connect has been fantastic in collaborating  with us, even working with us to develop future projectors that meet our evolving needs. As the industry and our business grow, our relationship with Panasonic Connect will continue to deepen.

Q: What impact do you think immersive technology is having on the industry?

Chad Bergamaschi: It’s huge. I’ve been with Full Swing for almost seven years, and the landscape has changed significantly in that time. Immersive experiences are a big part of that shift. While we still have the best golf simulator on the market with the best technology, there’s now so much more you can do with it. We offer nearly 30 different experiences beyond golf—like kicking soccer balls or throwing baseballs—so it appeals to a wider audience.

This versatility is opening doors for us in places we hadn’t historically been in, like hotels, casinos, resorts, and amenity spaces. We’re seeing massive growth and new opportunities in those areas. On the golf side, we’re still heavily involved with some of the top PGA Tour players, and we have partnerships with the PGA Tour and Topgolf, which is really exciting.

It’s all about creating an immersive experience that caters to many different kinds of people, not just golfers.
